 April Spencer, M.D.

Chief Executive Officer

 Dr. April Spencer is a board certified general surgeon in private practice in Georgia. She is the founding partner of Pure RxLeaf. She is also the Founder and Chief Operating Surgeon of Dr. Spencer’s Global Breast Health & Wellness Center located in Georgia.

She attended Morehouse School of Medicine and completed General Surgery Residency at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was then awarded the Susan G. Komen-Sponsored, Breast Surgery Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a Georgia resident for over 38 years and through her membership in Leadership Atlanta, class of 2019, she has been actively engaged in tackling important socioeconomic issues to make Georgia and our region a better place to live, work and grow businesses. She has further exercised her leadership and community advocacy skills to serve on the Georgia State University Foundation Board and the Susan G. Komen, Atlanta affiliate board.

 As a medical expert for over 17 years and business owner, she has utilized her expertise to surgically manage breast cancer and clinically manage debilitating cancer treatment-induced symptoms, such as chronic pain and peripheral neuropathy. She has been the Principle Investigator in her practice for several significant observational studies focusing on CBD oil and it’s role in minimizing harm and maximizing efficacy in oncology patients pre and post-treatment symptoms.

 She was nationally recognized for her surgical oncology work in underserved counties in Georgia by the prestigious American Society of Clinical Oncology. As a clinician she sees first-hand the necessity of Georgia patients to have access to safe and effective cancer relief options. She has been committed to using this insight and her medical platform to increase awareness. She has engaged in Medical Cannabis education and advocacy by presenting at the Georgia State Capital, Atlanta Medical Association, the Southeastern Hemp & Medical Cannabis Convention and testifying at the Minority Cannabis Commission Hearings on the benefits of medical CBD oil and Cannabinoids since 2015.

She's medical-media personality, highly sought-after speaker, author, women’s health advocate, consultant and lecturer on breast cancer and women’s health.

 

 

Victoria L. Collier, J.D., CELA, CEPA
 Hemp Grower and Processor, Chief In-House Counsel 

 

Victoria Collier has been a licensed attorney in Georgia since 2002. Since that time she has become a Certified Elder Law Attorney and Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Being recognized as a national expert on Veterans Benefits and Elder Law, Georgia Governor Sonny Purdue appointed Ms. Collier to the Georgia Council on Aging in 2010 for a 6-year tenure. Ms. Collier’s passion to help senior citizens and Veterans dates back to when she served in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm for six years, in the United States Army Reserves as a 1LT during Iraqi Freedom, and as a nurse’s aide at a nursing home. She is also a farmer. In 2020, Victoria planted, cultivated, and harvested 14 acres of hemp in Georgia. She was issued both a Hemp Growers license and a Hemp Processors Permit. Ms. Collier meets with seniors and Veterans daily who are in physical and emotional pain due to age related and military related chronic illnesses, such as rheumatoid arthritis and PTSD.  It is her personal mission to help people relieve their emotional and physical pain during life and at death. She strongly believes that the Cannabis Industry will be able to fulfill that mission.

  In addition to managing a multi-million-dollar law firm, Ms. Collier has also built, co-owned and managed several other high grossing businesses, to include Lawyers with Purpose, Patriot Angels, and Red Feather Financial. Ms. Collier is a published author of several professional books. Based on Ms. Collier’s leadership acumen in her community, she was selected as one of only 89 participants in Leadership Atlanta, Class of 2019, from an applicant pool of over 4,000.  

 


Monique McKnight, M.D.

Chief Operating Officer

 Monique V. McKnight, M.D. was born and raised in Houston, TX where she is currently a practicing obstetrician/gynecologists. In 1999 she received her medical degree  from Morehouse School of Medicine located in Atlanta, GA, which since then has become her second home. She has been a practicing ob/gyn physician for over fifteen years which has allowed her the opportunity to care for generations of women and witness the growth of many beautiful families. Not only has her career afforded her the fulfillment of becoming a very sought after skilled minimally invasive surgeon but it has also gifted her the responsibility of counseling, educating, and providing a very diversified population of women with preventive skills and screening management.

 Dr. McKnight's passion for the healing of women has led her to explore medicine with a more innovative and nontraditional approach. This approach has led her to focus on the use of medicinal cannabinoids and its benefits especially in the treatment of intractable postoperative pain as well as chronic and malignant diseases such as endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, and endometriosis.

 She is currently on  faculty  at Baylor Medical College. She hopes to be a source of light and hope for those patients who have not experience any relief with traditional treatment algorithms by becoming a key player in the cultivation of a treatment that will dramatically improve the quality of life of those being consumed with pain and suffering.

 

Gayla Dillard, M.D. MDIV,

Chief Medical Officer

 Dr. Dillard obtained her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. She has been a board certified general surgeon actively practicing in Georgia since 1992. As a United States Army veteran she served as a flight surgeon and witnessed first hand the affects of PTSD and the benefits cannabis had on that illness as well as for her cancer patients and patients with Crohn’s disease. She has managed a busy surgical practice requiring both marketing and employee management skills for over 27 years. Her practice has been the location for several significant observational studies evaluating the affects of CBD oil in mitigating post- surgical pain.

 She was a founding member of the Rockdale Rotary Club of Conyers Georgia which stresses both service as well as leadership. She served for many years as Chief of Surgery at Rockdale county hospital and has first hand knowledge of credentialing, conflict resolution and hospital management.
